Last Wednesday, January 21, the hearts of Catholics were once again filled with joy at the presence of the Supreme Pontiff at the General Audience held in the Paul VI Hall. After a warm welcome from hundreds of faithful gathered at the site, the Heralds of the Gospel were present at this moment of profound joy, in which the Successor of Peter offered an edifying catechesis of great spiritual depth.
The Holy Father dedicated his reflection to the theme of Revelation, deepening the meaning of God’s action in human history and recalling that God does not reveal Himself through abstract ideas, but through a true dialogue of covenant, in which He addresses men as friends.

The Pope also highlighted a passage from the Gospel of St. Luke (Lk 10:21–22) to show that it is in this dynamic of living relationship that Christians learn to know God as Father, recalling the words of Christ himself: “No one knows who the Son is except the Father, nor who the Father is except the Son, and those to whom the Son chooses to reveal him.”
All the Heralds of the Gospel who were present, Priests of Virgo Flos Carmeli and Sisters of Regina Virginum, had a quick greeting with Pope Leo XIV as he was passing.
