Heralds of the Gospel strives daily to bring the message of the Gospel to all men, but especially to young people, by touching their hearts by means of beauty “that will save the world.”

The apostolate of Heralds of the Gospel is multifaceted covering a wide gamut of activities. In every area – in the apostolate, in the liturgy, in pastoral action, in formation, in training, in the arts – the most advanced and modern techniques are used to carry out the new evangelization.

Perpetual Adoration

Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament is, nonetheless, done within the possibilities of every house. In this way even the young visitors and participants have an opportunity for intimacy with Our Lord Jesus Christ.

First Saturday Devotion

In her third appearance on July 13, 1917, the Blessed Virgin asked that Communions of reparation be made on the first Saturdays of five consecutive months.

My daughter, the reason is simple: There are five kinds of offenses and blasphemies against the Immaculate Heart of Mary…”

Spiritual Retreats

The enormous spiritual wealth of the Church allows each retreat to focus on a different underlying theme, which can also adapted for the type of persons, their age, or education, so that, while always maintaining the same basic structure, they are never overly repetitive.

Liturgical Animation

The liturgy provides many opportunities to exercise this apostolate. In each of its many offices and functions, the Heralds strive to carry them out with perfection, whatever they may be: lector, acolyte, candle-bearer, thurifier, master of ceremonies, music and other ministries.

Crowning of Our Lady

From time immemorial, Catholics have had the custom of paying special tribute to the Mother of God by placing a crown on her head.

This popular devotion has a special spiritual significance, the gift of oneself. The offering of the crown represents that act of placing oneself under the guidance and protection of the Mother of God that she may rule over our hearts.

Apostolate of the Shrine

Heralds of the Gospel carries out the shrine apostolate initiative worldwide.

Essentially, the initiative entails the formation of groups of thirty families (10 to 15 families in the USA). Each day of the moth, the Shrine of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, as She appeared at Fatima in Portugal, travels from home to home on pilgrimage.

Marian Missions

Marian missions are initiated at the parish level a formal invitation from the local pastor. On the first day of the mission, parishioners will be divided into groups and each group will receive a statue of Our Lady.

Beginning at the parish church, these groups will go out carrying the statue and walk the streets of the parish, going door to door, and offering an opportunity for the statue to visit homes, schools and businesses and to pray with those present. During this activity individuals are invited to participate into more activities and the closing at the end of the mission at church.
