Called to Be Co-Redemptors: Sharing in Christ’s Redemptive Mission
Does the God-Man need collaborators to complete His Passion? Can we really console Him in His sorrows, even though living centuries after His Ascension into Heaven?
“In this endeavor, born from your noble heart, we cannot but see a particular grace given to the Church, an act of Divine Providence in view of the needs of the contemporary world. You are of the lineage of heroes and saints.“
Words of Cardinal Franc Rodé, on occassion for awarding Monsignor João the “Pro Eclesia et Pontifice” Medal, on August 15, 2009.
Beauty
that will save the world.
Beauty
that will save the world.
In the various evangelization endeavors, the Heralds bring the message of the Gospel to all men, but especially to young people, by touching their hearts by means of beauty “that will save the world.”
These can range from pastoral activities, devotions, catholic formation to music and, above all, splendor in the liturgy.

Like the sun that, as it sets, casts its most beautiful rays, Msgr. João’s last months on this earth were the corollary and quintessence of his life, as well as the dawn of a new form of closeness between him and his spiritual children.
