Pilgrim Statue of the Heralds in the Congress, Dickinson, TX, 5.9 (3)

At the Annual Marian Congress, organized by the Legio Mariae of the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston, the Heralds of the Gospel participated and helped in this one day program. The Congress was hosted at the Shrine of the True Cross in Dickinson in Texas, initiating with a Holy Mass.

The Pilgrim Statue of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, came in the procession for the Holy Mass. Afterwards, the participants had various talks they could attend. Amongst the which, a priest of the Heralds gave a talk on the life of the Blessed Virgin Mary, giving a particular emphasis on Her being a model to us and the youth.

The cooperators of the Heralds of the Gospel also helped the Missionary Brothers throughout the Congress, such as carrying the Pilgrim Statue in the procession and instilling admiration for Mary Most Holy by talking to those present in the free times.

Towards the end of the Congress, Rev. Fr. Ricardo Arriola crowned the Pilgrim Statue to symbolize the marian devotion of all those who participated in the Congress. Then, there was a Rosary Procession around the Parish grounds which concluded the event.
