Heralds of the Gospel Entrusted with Pastoral Care of a Parish in Paraguay

At the headquarters of the Archdiocese of Asunción, an agreement was signed on, Wednesday, authorizing the Heralds of the Gospel to assume the pastoral care of San Isidro Labrador, located in Villa Madrid, Limpio, within Deanery X.

The agreement was signed by His Eminence Cardinal Adalberto Martínez, Archbishop of Asunción, and Reverend Father Alex Barbosa de Brito, delegate of the Pontifical Commissioner, Cardinal Raymundo Damasceno Assis. Also present at the signing were Father Aldo Bernal Chena, Chancellor Secretary, and Father José María Troche, Superior of the Heralds of the Gospel in Paraguay.

On this occasion, Reverend Father Kirthan Blasius Carlo, EP, was appointed pastor of the parish and will henceforth assume responsibility for the pastoral care of the San Isidro Labrador community.
