What is a Marian consecration?

It is a spiritual act by which a person freely entrusts himself entirely to Our Lady, following the teaching of St. Louis de Montfort, so that she may lead him more perfectly to Jesus Christ.

How do I prepare for consecration to Our Lady?

Preparation usually includes several weeks of prayer, spiritual reading, an honest confession and participation in Holy Mass, asking Mary for the grace to belong totally to Jesus through her.
