21st International Congress for Cooperators

On the month of July, the Heralds of the Gospel invite all Cooperators from around the world to gather for a 3 day congress. It takes place at the Basilica of Our Lady of the Rosary in Caieiras, São Paulo, Brazil. The congress seeks to deepen the cooperators in the Spirituality of the Heralds and lay strong roots in Our Lord, His Church and Our Lady.

A spiritual retreat on Confidence

As in any Congress for Cooperators, there are daily Masses at the Basilica, celebrated with the most solemnity. As a big family united under the same Charism, a Rosary procession takes place from the Basilica to the Auditorium, where a series of talks are given.

The theme of the talks are always spiritual and linked to the Charism of the Heralds. This year the subject which the cooperators learned and deepened on was Confidence. A virtue which contains the perfection of Faith and Hope, reaching the height of sanctity where one no longer relies on his on strength but abandons himself completely in the arms of Providence.

After each talk, the cooperators broke into small groups for discussion with different clergy of the Heralds.

A worldwide family

Not only are these congresses a great opportunity for spiritual growth, but of making bonds. The Cooperators from different countries have the pleasant surprise to meet other families and members of the Heralds, stimulating the sense of belonging to the spiritual family of the Heralds of the Gospel.
