First Saturday Devotion- November 2023

"You, at least try to console Me."

Responding to the request of Our Lady, the Heralds of the Gospel promote the devotion of reparation to the Immaculate Heart of Mary on the first Saturday of every month.

The devotion organized by the Heralds of the Gospel fulfills all the points that Mary Most Holy asked for when she appeared to Sister Lucy on December 10, 1925:

  • Confession.
  • Holy Communion.
  • Recitation of five decades of the Holy Rosary.
  • A fifteen-minute meditation on the mysteries of the Rosary.

All these with the intention of making reparation.

Fidelity to the Devotion

For years on end, the Heralds of the Gospel have organized the First Saturday Devotion, particularly in Miami.

All acts throughout the event, were realized with the maximum splendor and accompanied with a never fading fervor from the faithful. Many of these, despite having fulfilled the five consecutive first Saturdays, continue to participate in this devotion.

Solemn Crowning and sacrality in the liturgy

With any event, or even small deed, from the Heralds of the Gospel, the sublime reality is given the most importance through the splendor.

To symbolize the reparation and with the vivid hope of the promise of Our Lady in Fatima, a solemn crowning of the Pilgrim Statue to the Immaculate Heart takes place.

After the crowing of the Pilgrim Statue and a procession through the Church, the devotion gives way to its apex, the celebration of the Holy Mass.

You at least try to console me.

This devotion seeks to remedy the great abyss of today’s world, which is no other than humanity’s indifference toward God.

And the faithful respond generously to this call. Hundreds of people gather monthly to fulfill the devotion in its entirety. To the extent of gathering seven priests so to be able to attend all the faithful who wish to confess during the devotion.
