At the one of the most beautiful Churches in Los Angeles, California, the Heralds of the Gospel had a Solemn Holy Mass on Saturday, August 22 in the evening. This Holy Mass at St. Vincent de Paul marked the conclusion of the online consecration to Mary course. After a month of daily video classes, those who participated were invited to pray their consecration together.

The course of Consecration to Mary is based on St. Louis de Montfort’s True Devotion. In this spiritual milestone, the participants were invited to come together in a Holy Mass with the Heralds. Some of them drove up to 4 hours to be there. Even, one flew in from Seattle, Washington.

Before the Holy Mass, the priests heard confession for two hours. The Holy Rosary was also recited, 30 minutes before.

During the thanksgiving, the faithful prayed out loud their consecration to Mary. Thus, giving themselves entirely to Our Lord, through the hands of Our Lady.

In commemoration of such an important Marian devotion and to symbolize this spiritual link with Mary, the Statue of Our Lady of Fatima was crowned by the priest of the Heralds in the name of all the participants.
